About Hearn Maritime
Hearn Maritime construction are specialists in the construction of aluminium yachts, canal, river and coastal motor boats to 60 feet in length.
Stuart Hearn is the principal and founder of the company having thirty four years of experience in hands-on yacht building. Stuart has been sailing for forty eight years.
Company History
S.F. Hearn Maritime Construction was founded in 1986 in New Zealand where the company built sailing yachts, mussel harvesters and large trailerable power boats of both inboard diesel type and outboard motor type. In 2000 the company was renamed to Millenium Yachts Ltd and in 2002 was delisted and moved to Australia.Hearn Maritime in Europe
In 2008 Stuart conducted a feasibility study in the EU where construction will soon begin. The new European base will be on one of the big rivers of the Danube, Rhine or Main. This will give Hearn Maritime Construction a foothold for expanding in to the European market of long range Canal River and coastal motorboats. The sailing yachts and trailer boats pages listed under "Our Services" on the right serve to demonstrate craft we have built in the past.Our focus is now upon the inland and coastal waterways. To that end we have developed the long range boat you see featured on the Home page.
In saying this we will custom design and build any sailing yacht to 19m and trawler type motor yacht to 19m Inboard or outboard trailer boat to 9m.
